Women’s Self Defense Seminar a Success

The Shepherd Police Department shared news about their Women’s Self Defense seminar, which was held on Saturday, October 13.

• “We had a great group of people and everybody learned tips/tactics/strategies to keep themselves safe,” the post on the Facebook page reads. “Our instructors are already planning for the Spring 2019 seminar.”
• Proceeds from the seminar will be donated to the Shepherd Public Schools, to go towards students’ overdue lunch accounts.
