A girl I work with said earlier this week her dad had a heart attack. He had a 95% heart blockage in one of his arteries and had no idea. Following surgery which involved having a stint fitted he’s been given the all clear. How quickly things can change, how close she came to her whole life changing. Only a thirty minute drive away she went to the hospital and her family instantly began to cry. They were grateful that the situation hadn’t been worse and realised how close they were to losing someone important. I know I’m guilty of taking things and people for granted. It’s that classic thing of when we have a cold we would give anything to be able to breath properly. Let’s not wait until we get a cold, let’s take a deep breath and appreciate everything we have.
