Investors often ask about the progress!

Investors often ask about the progress of companies following on from their presentation. Our 2nd July 2019 meeting started with an update from Dorian Smellie of TotalControlPro, updating us on progress since he presented to us last October. In a nutshell, TotalControlPro raised all its cash requirement and is now growing rapidly and successfully.

Cranfield graduate Biju Menon introduced us to his start-up Nottx and his dream of companies being able to recruit staff without any prejudice or bias such as gender, age or race.

Romi Mathew targeted those who understand child care with his innovative Bluebell Baby Monitor. This indispensable gadget sets new standards of interactivity between parent and baby. This business has already attracted investment of £1.2 million and the product is now on exclusive offer via John Lewis, so Romi asked for additional funding to ramp up the business.

Last but by no means least came two entrepreneurs hoping to improve the world of non-invasive cosmetic procedures. Cameron Roddha and Hussain Cheema pitched for £300k to launch their disruptive SAAS product, Face. The Face app puts clients in touch with reputable practitioners, imposing a measure of order and integrity into an unregulated sector. The Face platform is launching in August and the business is seeking to scale rapidly.

Please contact MKIG if you wish to know more about any of these businesses.
