We are living in the golden age of self-publishing books.

It has never been easier to take a thought, idea, story, or solution to a problem and turn it into a book.

We live in a time, when the gatekeepers of traditional publishing no longer need to validate or approve our ideas.

Now, the reader gets to decide whether or not our book is any good because we can get those books out to those readers ourselves.

There has never been a better time to publish a book than this day and age that we live in and create.

I believe the day of 300+ page books is over.

Yes, people will still read them. And yes, people will still write them. But these books filled with fluff, long stories, and overly intellectualized content will not stand for much longer.

Traditionally focused authors and readers will laugh at the idea that short books are on the move. They will blame short attention spans and the overflow of content the reason for long books to die.
