Bye-bye, crappy things!
In a busy woman's life, there's no time for bullshit possessions

My and husby, we live in a small 1-bedroom apartment and expecting our first baby. The need to keep only the useful things is great. Once I stop using something, it's going out, no strings attached!

Microwave
It's horrendous, it strips away the nutrients from your food (so you're basically eating nothing) and it's blasting you with penetrating electromagnetic waves.
I put this invention in the same category as tanning beds. It's just… not intelligent to use.
Heat your food just like your grandmother would, in a pot on a stove. Defrost slowly in a fridge and then at room temperature.

Cable TV
Today's television programs are created to fill up the space between ads. In an hour, 30% of time are commercials.
Television is in a sad state. News make us feel angry and powerless. TV shows twist reality in order to shock. The only thing that is watchable on my 150 channels that does not violate my intelligence, are snooker matches.
TV will change its face very soon. More and more people watch their content for free on YouTube or subscribing to on-demand streaming. We will have the power to decide which TV series see the day of their second season (remember Firefly?). Let's let the world of video inspire us to create, not just to spend brainless hours forgetting to blink.

Old clothes and electronics
Clean home, clean mind. Everything without purpose must go.
Every year I prepare couple of boxes and fill them with clothes I haven't wore for 2 years. I never keep those boxes at home, I donate them to friends, family or charity, or usually straight throw them away, because most of it is outworn.
We had a big old TV and a broken vacuum cleaner stored in a bottom of our big closet. Old electronics in your home is a very bad feng shui that can disrupt sleep. Once I sent my husband to our city's electronic waste collecting place with that garbage and I washed the closet, the room felt suddenly lifted.
Thank you for reading! What else do you not keep at your home?
