Scarcity of time frequently triggers a mindset that makes us more efficient. With little time left to complete a task, we stop overthinking the small details of a project, and “good enough” truly becomes good enough. Impending deadlines need not be imposed by others. All of us can use them as a tool to focus on the areas we should be focusing on. Imposing a deadline on ourselves can help us avoid procrastination, get stuff done, and accept a finished job over the ever elusive perfect job.
