Everything worth doing takes years. Everything worth doing takes effort and talent. Unfortunately, the road towards massive wins is going to be neither easy nor fast. Moreover, you are likely to face the obstacles that you have never thought of along that way…

It is not a secret that we all have a feeling that there are barely any shortcuts to things we have ever dreamed about. However, some people appear to accomplish outstanding results much faster than others, what makes us believe that there are still some secrets of success.

In fact, each and every story of success contains one similar component. This component is actually a secret that has proven to be dependable and has always lead to the desired destination, namely success.

The good news is that you can add this ingredient to your own story and it will definitely help you accelerate personal growth and attain your ambitions faster.

It is important for you to hear this. It will be a key to becoming better than you have ever thought possible and starting reaping huge rewards for your work.

The secret of high pace of personal growth is simple: Challenging environment.

There is no better means of fostering your growth than a peer pressure in a good sense. The way your environment influences you and a kind of energy it charges you with are fundamental in your story of success.

If you are still surrounded by people who are less ambitious than you and are keen on belittling your ambitions as well as turning down your ideas… it is high time to limit the contact with them and change your environment.

A cohort of people who one day decided to settle for mediocrity will soon make you do the same. Therefore do not wait until it happens… Escape their destructive impact today. Such a company of people will do nothing but hold you back all the time.

Be ruthless with your environment. If it is not a perfect fit to your aspirations and can no longer be considered as favorable for your blossoming, change it immediately.

Surround yourself with like-minded people. Get around greatness. Do your best to surround yourself with those who will always challenge you to grow, develop, learn, play and win. You need people who will constantly set the bar higher and require you to conform to the standards.

In the challenging environment, you will always have a feeling that you lack skills and knowledge. However, you will never lack the motivation. And this is exactly what you need to become the best at what you do.

Filter out people from your circle who have never inspired you for great accomplishments. Avoid those who always radiate negativity and never stop complaining. Get away from people who are jealous and do their best to belittle your ambitions.

Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great — Mark Twain

If you are the smartest and the most proficient guy in a room, your environment can only pander to your vanity, but it is unlikely to make you grow. In such a case you get a feeling that you have already excelled in your field, since you are much better than your peers. It automatically makes you feel relaxed and does not nudge you towards further self-improvement.

The environment you are growing in is crucial. You are not likely to do anything on your own. You need support, advice, motivation and a feeling that you constantly have to move onward and upward.

You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with — Jim Rohn

Make sure your circle fits your aspirations. Make sure it does really make you grow. Make sure people that surround you do not hold you back but rather always push you ahead.

Get around greatness. Become great!
