VetTechTrek is bringing 40 veterans who want to start software and hardware companies to Y Combinator next week. Many of the participants are applying to the YC S16 batch now that they have completed their military service.

We’ll introduce six of these founders tomorrow, allowing them a chance to tell their story of transitioning from the military and why they made the decision to start a company.

The full event runs Feb 10–11th and participating veterans will visit 8 YC Alumni companies along with an extended visit with YC partners.

We’re incredibly grateful to our hosts who are offering inside perspectives on building cultures and companies in technology.
