➜ Remember when Mom told you that if you want to be strong and healthy, you have to eat your greens? Surprise, surprise. Mom was right. A new study from Penn State shows that eating broccoli improves common digestive issues and helps maintain a healthy gut.

➜ It’s well known that blueberries are a “superfood,” but what exactly is their superpower? New research shows that blueberries may improve attention and cognitive function in children. After performing a double-blind study, it was found that children who consumed blueberry powder performed significantly better on tests than children that did not eat the powder. Perhaps Violet Beauregarde was onto something.
