Welcome to Thursday’s (#MiniFriday) edition of the Mission Daily newsletter and podcast! This is your daily dose of content designed to inspire and empower you as you embark on a daunting task…

Saving humanity! By acting locally 😉

Mediating human evolution is always the topic top of mind for us. As the pandemic surges, our way of doing that is by sharing the good news. While some groups hoard and mislead, others are inspiring and leading. The latter are the “voluntary” heroines and hero’s you’ll learn about here.

The Good News 🗞

The rate of deaths from Corona is declining in Italy. Abbott Labs is releasing a new 5-minute test. Folks in China are getting back to work! The number of new cases and deaths in the U.S. was down from the day before on March 30th.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the head of the national effort to fight the coronavirus, sees promising signs in New York, where it looks like the number of new cases is “flattening”. The data is, of course, subject to error and new data is always coming in, however, educated guesses from trusted sources think the virus will peak in the U.S. around April 15th and that we can beat it back by early June.

Let’s socially distance our way across the finish line and help wherever possible!

The markets took a hit these last few weeks, but the S&P 500 is now coming off its best week in 11 years.

Our Super Friend 🤩

Today, I am joined by Adam Fisher, veteran of the Silicon Valley “underground” and author of Valley of Genius. We discuss the common misperceptions people have about the Valley with a quick detour into totalitarianism. No biggie.

Your Daily Mission ❤️

Yesterday’s Daily Mission got things kicked off, and I led the way by giving myself a big hug. Hope you did too. 🤗

Today’s Daily Mission: Acknowledge, in a public way, someone who has helped save your life.

Awkward? Yes.

Worth it? Most definitely.

That’s it for my update today! If you haven’t already, be sure to tune into today’s Mission Daily episode. 👋
