The human mind can achieve only what is expected of it. If you think you can, you are right. But the minute you say, “I’m not capable of that,” you are actually training your brain to live up to your diminished expectations.
You can’t do what you don’t expect of yourself. What I’m suggesting is to use more of your intelligence, more of what you know, more of what you can do, and more of what you are capable of. Get going. Move forward. Aim High. Plan a takeoff. Change your attitude and gain some altitude.
Much of your success and fulfillment comes down to how you see things and what you expect of yourself. Your attitude impacts everything.
Your attitude directs your thoughts, your energy and most of all, your actions. In the words of Stephen King “you can, you should, and if you’re brave enough to start, you will.” Anticipate success, and believe you can overcome any obstacle and difficulty to reach your goal.
To achieve extraordinary success in your endeavours, train yourself to not only have a POSITIVE ATTITUDE, but also express it consistently.

Realise it’s possible. Instead of telling yourself why you can’t. Become aware of your self-talk. Kill negative thoughts. Replace them with positive attitude. Love what you have already. And make the most of it. Focus on what you have, not on what you haven’t. Accept criticism with grace. See failure as a stepping stone to success. Imagine that you’re already positive. Then become that person in your next act.

A positive attitude changes your perception about life and living it. Your whole being broadcasts good will, happiness and success if you consistently maintain a positive attitude and back it up with actions.
Even your health is affected in a beneficial way. You walk tall, your voice is more powerful, and your body language shows the way you feel. This happens instinctively and on a subconscious level, through words, thoughts and feelings, and through body language.
In the famous book “The Power of Positive Thinking” by Norman Vincent Peale, he says when you expect the best, you release a magnetic force in your mind which by a law of attraction tends to bring the best to you.
In a reseach by Barbara Fredrickson, a positive psychology researcher at the University of North Carolina, and she found out that when you are experiencing positive emotions like joy, contentment, and love, you will see more possibilities in your life. These findings were among the first that suggested positive emotions broaden your sense of possibility and open your mind up to more options.
The future is decided by optimists!

I’m a pretty positive person. Positive thinking has changed my life. Pessimism, a tendency to see the worst aspect of things or believe that the worst will happen steals dreams.
Winston S. Churchill once said “A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.” James Branch Cabell says “The optimist proclaims that we live in the best of all possible worlds; and the pessimist fears this is true.”
Guess what, If you expect the worst, you’ll never be disappointed. In the words of Thomas L. Friedman “Pessimists are usually right and optimists are usually wrong but all the great changes have been accomplished by optimists.”
Dreams are all we have. Those who actually achieve them never give up on them. If you maintain a positive attitude, everything you want will be dream away. Don’t be afraid of the unknown, because everything is unknown.
Dreaming big cost nothing but it’s everything.
Instead of worrying about what you cannot control, even if you tried, focus on what you can create. What you can make. Everything you can do.
Positive thinking leads to positive action

Positive thinking is the keystone habit that will help you form the other important habits. Positive thinking by itself won’t lead to success, but it certainly goes a long way to motivate you to do the other things required.
Achieving goals is a matter of motivating yourself, and keeping your focus on your goal. Positive thinking combined with positive action results in success.
Marc Chernoff of Marc and Angel says when you feel like giving up, ask yourself, “Can I give more?”
“Low expectations mean low results. So watch how you speak to yourself. And when you reach that point of struggle in your mind where most people would give in and give up, do the opposite and give it another shot.
If you are going to be successful in creating the life you dream of, you have to believe that you are capable of doing so. You have to believe that you have the resources, talents, and skills necessary to create your desired results.”
Be more mindful of your thoughts. Today, take a moment to check in with your thinking because as Henry Ford once said ‘Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t — you’re right.’
Your input predicts your output
Watch your thoughts, they become words. Watch your words, they become actions. Watch your actions, they become habits. Watch your habits, they become your character. Watch your character, it becomes your destiny. — Lao Tzu
Everything you allow into your life through all your senses — input — is processed as output that creates your results. If you expect a different output, start analysing your inputs.
Negative thoughts are a normal part of human functioning. You will think about both negative and positive outcomes. But the most important thing to remember is not to allow your negative thoughts to rule your actions.
Being able to separate your negative thoughts from your sense of self is one of the most useful things you can do to be better and successful.
The overwhelming reality about life and living it is this: The quality of your inputs determines and predicts your output — habits, character, attitudes, beliefs, actions and results.
To put it simply: Pursue your ultimate potential. Your brain will do the rest.
