The loser is a temporary tag that we carry in life. In most cases, we lose because of several reasons. If you examine, you lose not because of external situations or distractions, but because of your own internal mindset.

MORAL: Learn to handle distractions in your life well or else you will end up failing or giving up.

The Story:

There lived a hungry fox in a dark forest. 🌳 It ate so much every day. It couldn’t resist itself from eating. It even preferred to eat tasty and new types of food every day.

One day it came to know from one of its friends that the flesh of the elephant is delicious. But it's hard to hunt them as they are so huge and in groups. However, the lions in the forest attacked these elephants and killed them in more number, and left several dead bodies of elephants at a place where these elephants grazed every day.

So the fox decided to feed on the dead bodies of elephants the next day. It was so hungry and ate nothing as it wants to eat the elephant’s flesh on that day. It has to move a little distance to reach the place where it can have elephant’s flesh. The fox started early to reach the elephant’s grazing place.

The fox's stomach was empty. In the middle of its journey, it came across several small animals but controlled itself from feeding on them as it wants to make a feast out of elephant’s flesh on that day.

Finally, it reached the place and found the elephants grazing. But the fox didn’t go forward to hunt as they were in groups and waited for the lions to arrive and hunt them. As it came early, it has to wait longer. However, it was starving too.

The fox couldn’t stay idle and it went on moving in the bushes where it is hidden. It waited longer, and the hunger is taking away the fox’s patience every minute. It couldn’t resist, so it ate every small animal it found there.

The time passed, and the lions came and started hunting elephants. The fox stayed silent as its hunger got fulfilled a little as it fed on a few small animals. However, it lacked patience, but it could not move forward as the lions were feeding on the elephants.

The fox didn’t want to waste any more time and continued feeding on other animals. The fox’s stomach became full and there is no space left to feed on the elephant's flesh. The lions left the place and several elephants' dead bodies are lying around.

The fox didn’t go even to taste the elephant’s flesh. It told itself that the elephant’s flesh is not that tasty and left the place and continued to feed on regular animals it fed on every day.

The fox failed to fulfill its desire as It couldn’t be patient, as it was scared to hunt and as it found other animals to feed on.

Even in human life, we start our journey to reach our goals. However, many of us give up because of distractions and other small choices we have before us. We don’t want to risk. We fear situations or others.

In the end, we have reasons for why we gave up and why we failed instead of fulfilled desires and goals in our life. The wise thing to do is keep trying until you get the most important thing get done in your life. Sometimes it may take your entire life or sometimes your lifetime maybe not enough. But it’s okay to lose your life, trying instead of dying with excuses and regrets.

Moral: Learn to handle distractions and fears in your life well or else you will end up failing or giving up.
