If you’ve read “Quantum Computing Product Menu,” you know that I’ve evaluated, to some degree, over 100 quantum computing products. If you were to click on the link right now, you might notice that I haven’t updated it in a while. Does that mean I’ve stopped adding to my list? Absolutely not. To the contrary, I’m in the process of kicking it up a few notches.

A Little Backstory

Once upon a time, I was trying to either count or list — who remembers — all the quantum computing products I had used up until that point. I quickly realized I couldn’t remember them all. So, I started to list them, initially anyway, just for my own sake. I had to go through all of my previous writing in hopes of finding them all, and retrospectively I still managed to miss some.

The list got long enough that I decided to publish it. Recommendations started coming in, and it extended into what it is today.

Two Seeds

Extending my list planted two seeds in my brain. These seeds eventually merged into the megaseed that is this current project.

  1. Displaying the count of products, like a high score in a video game, made me want to keep setting new high scores.
