Have you ever wondered who found your missing books and serves you lunch everyday? It’s time we look into the life of Mr. Leo Franco.

Mr. Franco’s full name is Leo Ordunez Franco. He was born in Carlsbad, NM and has been working as the janitor at JMA for fourteen years. Leo has seen so many things happen at JMA in that time such as the school having a flag football team. Leo has seen many students grow up and graduate and he is proud of them for bettering there lives.

Mr. Franco enjoys football, baseball, and World Wrestling Entertainment. Leo also enjoys a wide range of music and watching his grandchildren grow up. He loves to deer hunt and go fishing after work as well as supporting the San Francisco 49ers.

As a kid Leo attended Carlsbad High School where he played football, basketball, and ran track. “The one thing I miss about high school is the simple good old days and hanging out with my friends on the weekends.” Leo didn’t attend college and was lucky to not be drafted into the war.

Leo’s Favorite childhood memory was having to shave his leg in the eighth grade because of a football injury, and mowing his neighbor’s yards for extra money during the Summer. If Leo could go anywhere in the world, he would visit Hawaii and San Francisco to attend a 49ers football game. When Leo described himself he said “ I am friendly until you make me mad.”

It’s simple to say that Leo has made a huge impact on a lot of people and continues to do so every day.

Thank You Mr. Leo for all of your great service!
