PC -Vs- Console
Part 1: PC
Since the 1980’s, PC and console gamers have been arguing and it doesn't look like it will be ending anytime soon. Is it the graphics, the cost, or the customization of the gaming device? They are both similar in games but are different from the customization to the graphics of the devices.
The PC might not have the best graphics as the PS4 or Xbox One but can be upgraded by getting a PC with 1080p resolution screens. It can give you smoother game play and better graphics like the PS4. It can cost anywhere from $500 if you’re willing to pay but, can save more money on games from the Steam game platform.
The Steam game platform is where someone can browse, buy, and launch games with the best prices. Steam has game sales regularly and is definitely worth it. A game can cost about $50 for the PS4 or Xbox One while on Steam it can cost about $10 with extra downloadable contents (DLC).
Sometimes the keyboard and mouse can get annoying when playing rage games or action games. Now there are controllers for PCs like the Steam controller for $80 including connecting Steam games on the TV with the Steam link. There are even some controllers that the PlayStation and Xbox made to connect to PCs.
PCs are also known for their free online multiplayer games like RPG (role-playing game). For a year of service an PlayStation Plus membership and Xbox Live Gold can cost about $60 that builds up over the years. If continuing paying for membership for five years can cost around $300 instead of getting it for free on the PC.
PCs have many things that are different to the console. PCs have a bigger library to games from any genre you would and can install new updates anytime while the console doesn’t have a lot to go by. Consoles are always outdated and you are usually having to get another one which isn’t cheap these days. Sometimes you can even get customization for the PC equipment to make it more stylish which the console only gives at least three or four colors to pick from.
