Cierra Sullivan is a long time member of JMA (Jefferson Montessori Academy). Cierra has six animals and among these is a service dog in training named Daisy. Daisy is an Australian Shepard that assists her with her health problems.

At age six, Cierra was diagnosed with epilepsy which is a seizure disorder and says that she “has been experiencing seizures for as long as she can remember.” Throughout these struggles Cierra has been issued many medicines and put on many machines to try and help her through her tribulations and help her recover.

Cierra has been moved around to many hospitals due to seizures. Recently, in January, Cierra had been issued a medical marijuana card that has helped her an exceptional amount with stopping and preventing seizures.

Although Cierra has struggled throughout life, she has been pushing her self through it all. Cierra is now a competitive ballet dancer for Cheryl’s School of Dance and has worked in several other fields of dance in the past. She also occasionally works in other branches of dance such as ballroom.

Cierra likes being at JMA due to the “family like environment” and the fact that everyone knows and interacts with everyone else. Cierra also says that the uniqueness of the school and the less stressful environment is what helps her remain calm and gives her the ability to learn more.
