Gamers are wondering whether they should get the PlayStation 4 Pro or the Xbox One X. Here are the reasons the PlayStation 4 Pro is the obvious answer.

The PlayStation 4 Pro is an advanced version of the original, with 4K capabilities. 4K UHD (Ultra High Definition) is a resolution of 3840 pixels and 2160 lines and is one of the two mega high definition resolutions. The other being 8K UHD which is 7680 pixels and 4320 lines but 8K will not exist for a couple of years.

Unlike the new Xbox system, the Pro does not require a 4K TV. However, when combined with a 4K TV, it runs much smoother and has a higher frame rate. All of the original PlayStation 4 games are compatible with the pro, thus previously owned games are free. If you don’t want to lose all of your hard earned game play and unlocks on your older version of the PlayStation 4, it’s okay. A standard Ethernet cable can be used to transfer data between the two systems.

The new pro comes with the newest dualshock 4 controllers as well as a third charging port located in the back of the system. Unlike the original four system, the power on button is an actual button rather than that buggy sensor that we have all come to know and occasionally become upset with. The new pro comes with an enhanced processing unit making internet connections faster and smoother. With this new processor also comes a one TB HDD (Terabyte Hard Disk Drive.) Overall the new PlayStation 4 pro makes the new Xbox One X completely obsolete. If you are a true gamer, get this system as soon as you possibly can.
