Slouched In A Chair

Slouched lazily in the lounge chair, the old gentleman’s eyes are flickering uncontrollably beneath his crooked reading glasses. Days of fatigue are visible across his long face. His arms are crossed across his broad chest and a mangled snore emanates from deep in his nasal passages. He’s wearing a navy blue suit, the right sleeve stained with coffee in three different places. His short pants give way to a mismatched pair of socks. Patchy facial hair serves as evidence that he hasn’t shaven in at least a week. A passerby gives the disheveled man a delayed stare before continuing on his own way. Not waking him at this moment is probably a wise idea.
