Church Women United of Moorestown hosts their Celebration of Human Rights and World Community on Nov. 7
Church Women United of Moorestown welcome all interested persons to their Celebration of Human Rights and World Community on Friday morning, Nov. 7 at First Presbyterian Church, where Bridgeboro Road meets Riverton Road in Moorestown. A continental breakfast will be served at 9:30 a.m. followed by a program at 10 a.m.
Gayle Payne, a member of the host church, will share information about “Seeds of Hope,” a ministry among women in great need in Camden. Those attending are asked to bring items for use in that program, to include: tooth brush, travel-size tooth paste, deodorant, non-alcohol wipes and lip balm, with each set packaged in a plastic zipper bag.
Members of participating congregations are invited to share in this project, with those attending the celebration bringing their contributions. Presbyterian women have planned this event under the leadership of Annette Emerson, their Key Woman on the CWU local committee.
