Moorestown and Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice present Tree of Life ceremony on Dec. 2

The Moorestown and Medford communities are encouraged to gather family and friends to celebrate the season as Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice presents Tree of Life ceremonies on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. at Moorestown Friends School and on Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Medford Memorial Middle School.

The candlelight ceremony in Moorestown, open to the public, features inspirational readings and music provided by the Moorestown Friends Choir, followed by fellowship and refreshments provided by the Social Committee for Moorestown Friends Meeting.

In Medford, the candlelight ceremony, which is also open to the public, features inspirational readings and music provided by Samaritan’s Music Therapist Carrie Rupnow-Kidd, followed by fellowship and refreshments provided by the Woman’s Club of Medford.

Individuals may dedicate a light on the tree in memory of someone who has passed on or in honor of someone special in their life. Proceeds from optional donations benefit the patients, families and programs of Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice.
