Moorestown Friends Open House
Moorestown Friends School will host an Open House for prospective students and families on Sunday, January 24 at 2 p.m. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet faculty, students and school parents and tour the campus.
For 225 years, Moorestown Friends School has offered exceptional education: small classes, academic rigor and high-quality teachers encourage children to achieve their potential in a caring environment. Moorestown Friends School views ethical development as the foundation of our curriculum. We welcome students of all faiths; only a minority of our student body is Quaker. The school’s average SAT scores are annually the top in South Jersey by a significant margin and virtually all of our graduates go to college.
While many schools are transactional, Moorestown Friends School is transformational: We help children develop into better people. Starting in preschool, students learn life skills, from listening, fair play and cooperation to critical thinking, conflict management and decision-making by consensus. Our students grow into adaptive, intelligent and open-minded adults. We produce ethical and resilient young people with strong critical thinking skills.
Student enrollment is 709 students, with class expansion points at sixth and ninth grades. Our preschool program features part-time and full-time options, while full-day instruction begins in Prekindergarten.
