State Police searching for identity theft suspect

Police say the suspect opened credit card accounts at several businesses in Moorestown.

The following information was provided by the New Jersey State Police:

On Wednesday, Dec. 27, a suspect was captured on video surveillance obtaining a fraudulent credit card account using a victim’s personal information. The suspect was able to successfully open several credit card accounts a several businesses in Cherry Hill. She also opened additional accounts at two businesses located in the Moorestown Mall in Moorestown Township. Detectives believe that she was using a fraudulent New Jersey driver’s license, which contained the victim’s name and address.

The suspect is described as a female in her late 30s to early 40s, shoulder-length black hair, wearing a purple shirt, black pants and carrying a Victoria’s Secret handbag. She was seen leaving Moorestown Mall in a grey SUV, possibly a Ford Escape.
