How To Take Better Naps

It’s all about the timing.

Taking naps during the day is a good way to recharge. According to the CDC, both short naps and long naps increases alertness, and are recommended as a way to counter fatigue. However, not knowing how to time your naps properly can make you feel worse. This is a result of “sleep inertia” — the feeling of grogginess after a nap.
