The Turing Point
In the summer of 2017, after graduating from middle school, I made an important decision by myself for the first time. Instead of going to a traditional Chinese high school as my parents wish, I decided to go to a high school which offered international curriculums and then go abroad for my college.
At first, my parents were surprised and didn’t support me, because studying abroad was an unknown path. To persuade them, I spent one-month doing researches and telling my parents about the advantages of studying international curriculums. Finally, they compromised, and they said: “ Remember, this is your choice, and we hope you won’t regret it.” At that moment, I silently determined that I will prove to them how wise and correct my decision was, and I was so excited to start a brand new journey.
