Volume 2 — June 2021

Our second month was a shocking success!

As our story archives continue to grow, so does our readership! The Motherload publication is adding new followers daily and has now logged over 20,000 reading minutes in the last 30 days.

May Highlights

Our loyal and engaged readers logged some serious time on The Motherload this past month. Our top three stories for reader engagement were:

I Lost my Child at the River by

Proxy Mommy by

4 Reasons You Should Absolutely NOT Homeschool by

I’d like to give additional recognition to another very touching story, I Have Three Children But I’m A Mother to Four by

, for drawing in hundreds of reads.

There is certainly no lack of amazing content on this publication!

June Insights

I know this school year is a little different from most, but June still signals the end of the school year. Additionally, with vaccines flowing through the bloodstreams of the majority, our restrictions are slowly but surely easing. Dare I say, it feels like we are well on our way to a return to a new normal.

With that in mind, our June writer’s prompt is:

What are you most looking forward to doing with your children this summer?

Please have your stories submitted by June 10th, so that the winner may be displayed in the Writer’s Prompt section for the remainder of the month.

This summer is sure to be like none other and I look forward to hearing how you are going to be spending it with your children.
