“Self-discipline is often disguised as short-term pain, which often leads to long-term gains. The mistake many of us make is the need and want for short-term gains, which often leads to long-term pain.”-Charles F. Glassman

Be In Control Of Yourself

Emotion is an extremely powerful resource for any human being. It inspires us, motivates, scares, excites, and can even embarrass us at times. When harnessed and disciplined it can push you farther than you ever thought you could go, but when we let our emotions take over our lives it can lead to detrimental outcomes.

Without a steady grip on your emotions waking up in the morning may be a difficult task along with hitting the gym or eating healthy. When we can learn to be aware of these emotions, as they arise, it will help us to make conscious decisions that will guide us towards our ultimate destination. Remember the passion that you had before every goal that you were excited to make so that when the going gets tough it won’t be hard to keep pushing through.
