Gallery: “Snow starved” residents hit the slopes

A snow-starved South Jersey — which hasn’t seen much accumulation of the fluffy white stuff since early 2011 — took full advantage of the few inches that fell across the region on Saturday, Feb. 9. Even with grassy patches popping up along the hill and a slushy mess of mud at the bottom, visitors to Laurel Acres Park had a blast sledding throughout the morning.
