First day of the year brings snow, delays in Mullica Hill

As many begin to celebrate the first of March, they’re presented with morning snow

The Harrison Township and Clearview Regional school districts will be operating on a two-hour delay today, March 1. Friends School Mullica Hill on a delayed opening as well.

There is no word on whether or not Clearview has cancelled practices for spring sports today. Harrison’s Pack the Bus event was rescheduled to March 4.

Friends School’s Look Agra’s Event has been rescheduled to March 8.

Drivers are reminded to provide ample space in between one another and plows to ensure the town if plowed out safely and efficiently.

In addition, state law requires drivers to remove any and all accumulated snow or ice off vehicles. Not doing so can result in a ticket and/or a fine ranging from $25 to $75. Property damage fines range from $200 to $1,000.
