How can you look at me and not see intentionality?

I forget it’s just certain things that the naked eye fails to perceive.

This body is more than what it seems,

And yet you pick apart the pieces you never laid.

Don’t you know who my foundation is?

Firm and unfaltering, this be the stone that can never be weathered,

Chiseled out, or hollowed.

I hope my words don’t get lost in translation.

I hope you follow.

Father, forgive them, for they haven’t the faintest idea

Of who shaped my figure, finessed my flaws,

Turned my heart to Yah.

When I heard the call

It was only right that I didn’t stall.

Can’t press pause on a King.

I had to face the parts of me that I wish I never saw,

You digging deep to find you, when I’ve been here from the very start.

When did you forget?

Or was it just a dream after all?

I woke up today!

I woke up today!

Hold up, I woke today by His grace.

You can’t tell me I didn’t beat the odds.

Spirit indestructible —

You come against me, you warring with God.

©️peace be upon you! Don’t forget… esto también pasará.
