ENFIELD IS DISABLED is DYSPLA’s new digital art exhibition opening on the 16th August 2024 in North London.

This digital and analog collection of 3D Sculptural Portraits, Body Scans and Poetic Text, was developed and produced in collaboration with eleven local participants from Enfield — all of whom live with hidden or physical disabilities - including neurodivergence.

BACKGROUND

Arbeit Gallery in Palmers Green, North London awards DYSPLA a 12 week Artist Residency to create and curate their new exhibition entitled, ‘ENFIELD IS DISABLED’.

“DYSPLA have clearly and creatively responded to our theme of ‘Community’, and we are so glad they applied for our residency programme. As our third Artists in Residence as part of our High Street Happenings Programme, it is inspiring to see how each artist has responded to the theme through different mediums and projects, and we cannot wait to share DYSPLA exhibition.”
Dodie Finamore, Programme Manager | Arbeit Gallery, Palmers
