We ALL are busy. Without taking time to reflect, plan, and soul search we are merely going through the motions of life. Letting life happen to us. You need to set time aside for yourself, self-discovery, and exploration. This is a MUST. We need time to focus on unanswered questions, heal ourselves, have fun, and connect with our mind, body, and soul.
Here’s how you can take time for yourself…
1. Make the morning YOURS
Find time in the morning and devote it to yourself. Before people rise, and the day picks up, get your mind right by connecting with yourself.

2. Feed your passion(s)
Find an activity|passion that you enjoy, do it. One that gives back to you, leaving you better than before.
What recharges your battery, feeds your soul? What makes your life worth living? What gives you life and makes you a better person?

Your body is your temple.
Nurture it, move it, engage it.
4. Meditate
Meditation helps you center yourself, clear your mind, and relax.

Connect with the Earth to connect with yourself.

Write down your thoughts, ideas, reflections, goals, and opinions.

Educating yourself is a commitment to bettering yourself. Read & develop your mind. Pick a topic, genre, or piece of content that adds to you, and your character.

13. Clean
Yes…clean. A clean environment makes you feel good, reduces stress, and increases focus.

Reasons Why Don’t We Set Aside Time for Ourselves
- Busyness & responsibilities.
- Saying “I don’t have time.”
- We don’t make it a priority.
- We don’t want to be alone with ourselves, our insecurities, issues, and life’s questions.
- Distractions: technology, TV, music, videos, parties, etc.
- The inability to say NO and/or express our needs to others. Spreading ourselves too thin.
- We’d rather do more fun/pleasurable things.
