Bodies Found After Four Months

Andrew Katrinak reported missing his wife, Joanne and 3.5-month-old son, Alex, in December 1994. Even though Joanne was supposed to take her mother-in-law for Christmas shopping, she never showed up.

Puzzled, Andrew returned home and was surprised to find the basement room out of sorts. It was removed from its hinges. The phone line was cut off.

Clearly, his family had been in danger.

Joanne’s car was found 100 yards away from the house. The two had been kidnapped or, worse, murdered.

Devastated, Andrew had to wait for many months before getting any news in April 1995.

His worst suspicions were confirmed- 15 miles away from his house, the two bodies were found in the woods in Heidelberg Township, Pennsylvania.
