Everyone knows about the story of the big, beautiful Titanic that had a terrible accident. However, did you know the Titanic had two sisterships: the Olympic and the Britannic? Just like all sisters, these three ships shared many things in common. They were made by the same company, the White Star Line, and were built around the same time. They looked quite similar, but each sister had her own story, and the Britannic’s story is very interesting.
The Britannic was the youngest of the three sisters and was even more significant than the Titanic. But before she could start her life as a fancy ship for people to travel across the ocean, World War I began. Britannic was used as a hospital ship to help hurt soldiers during this time. Just like Titanic, the Britannic also sank, but her story is brave, full of exciting facts and moments.
