This month was an easy decision for the judges on the independent panel of Nano community members. They quickly chose to award the June Nano Community Project Award to the Nano Tip Bot for Twitter and Telegram.

The bot started in early 2018 as a tool for Twitter by Nano community member and NanoCenter Ambassador Mitche50, and later expanded to Telegram to increase Nano’s usability across the two platforms.

Since the bot’s inception, it has facilitated over 25,000 tips across Twitter and Telegram, and has been key to introducing many to this novel digital currency. To date, the bot has processed 25,379 Nano in tips, at a value of $24,619. This is a lot of generosity from the Nano community, facilitated by this community-created tool.

The level of commitment Mitche has for this project highlights the dedication that is shared among many within the Nano community, and serves as an inspiration for others who look to give back to the community however they can.

You can learn more about this month’s winner in the link above, or by viewing Mitche’s original announcement from 2018 here.

The Nano Community Project Award is a monthly award designed to recognize some of the more impactful projects within the Nano community. Each month, an independent panel consisting of active members within the community is assembled to pick a winner. The panel chooses a winner who will receive $1,000 in Nano and the honor of being recognized by their peers for their hard work.

This month’s community panel consisted of Johй, adrianegraphene, hanzyfranzy, ajshark, Hallo-XKL, arranHarty, Andy (NF comms), jabz, Maarten, and Bill.
