Starting the Napkin is a random shower thought.

Before showering, I read this article by Lance Cummings PhD on the way home, which Medium recommended in all serendipity.

In the article, he said:

Now I see blogging as a collaborative experience where I can share half-baked ideas and count on my readers to help me fully bake them.

I want to create a reader-centric place for half-baked ideas.

What does that mean?

This is to encourage writers to practice idea-forming with instant feedback from readers. Sometimes, we spend too much time crafting the next masterpiece, only to hear echoes from the creative abyss. I want to host a space where we can have quick discussions so that better ideas can form.

That’s it. This is the purpose of the Napkin— crisp and spontaneous, just like scribbling down ideas on a napkin.

I hope you all will use it as a sounding board or an open dialogue with the Medium readership.
