Optimising for conversion
In our previous post we talked about finding a partner to handle our digital marketing efforts.
In this one, I want to take you through our next steps and what we’ve been working on during the past week.
We ended up finding a very solid partner, based in Amsterdam, that we started to work with. It was also helpful to get a fresh pair of eyes on the website and see what we needed to improve and prepare before the initial campaigns start bringing traffic.
There were two focus points:
1. Target markets landscape and keywords research
Our partner has been researching the markets we want to target via digital marketing, mainly BeNeLux, Scandinavia and London. The goal is to both see the competitive landscape, as well as look at keywords we want to leverage.
2. Website v2
On our end, we worked and refactored the website to be much more informative as a value proposition.
Following are screenshots with the changes we made.

We also changed some other things on the website, such as the about page, as well as included a brand new FAQ page.
Next steps would be to start running ads, monitor and optimise them.
Meanwhile, Instagram efforts continue, mainly engaging with other people’s content and making a list of influencers we want to reach out to.
We also had the idea of sending out some products to CEO’s of startups in Amsterdam. Being the midst of the festive season it seemed appropriate, but thinking about it, we will postpone it for the first weeks of January. Now everyone will be receiving a lot of things and therefore the attention we can capture will be less, compared to the reactions we can create after the holidays.
Have a great Christmas!
