How to fail
It’s a bit demoralizing, isn’t it? You’ve got everything worked out in your head, you are so excited, but then boom — reality happens. You crash that plan like it’s nobody’s business.
Then the voices (thoughts) creep in, telling you everything you should have done right.
You know you didn’t do them, so you start calling yourself all kinds of names.
One in particular. It hurts very much when you call yourself a failure.
*Okay! Then what.
Everyone hates not getting the results they hoped for. And what do you want? You want me to ignore my feelings and go at it right away? That’s sick, you know.
I have to take time, and I also must avoid losing to protect my heart. You are not aware of how it hurts when you see so many ways it could have gone better, but I chose the bad choice.
I understand your frustration.
No one wants to be experimenting on themselves. But we have come to this question because you have grown up enough to see that failure deserves some love, too.
