Sudeva Jogananda’s intestine infection had become a big problem.
The doctors ran multiple tests, but they could not find the cause. So they decided to send his samples to Los Angeles, California, because they couldn’t pinpoint the problem in Mexico.
In the meantime, they prescribed two antibiotics, suspecting that he had a bacterial infection in his stomach. Then, for three days, Sudeva’s state worsened.
Sudeva started to experience tachycardia and arrhythmia. His heart was beating super fast and in incoherent patterns.
Sudeva told his dad that he felt like he was going to faint. Sudeva’s father called the nurse. A doctor came in with an electrocardiogram. After reading Sudeva’s ECG, she said, “You’re about to have a heart attack. She added, “But you’re only 29 years old?”
The doctor changed the machine, but the results were the same. Immediately, they rushed Sudeva to the emergency room.
They put an IV for hydration and medication directly into his heart via his shoulder. Unfortunately, Sudeva had his first heart attack.
