The Man Has a Near-Death Experience and Discovers We Ought to Live Life to The Fullest
The NDE (near-death experience) of Bubba Herrick
At 19, Bubba Herrick played Division One baseball for the University of North Florida. He got injured and was scheduled for surgery.
His elbow surgery was not going to be complicated.
During the preparation meetings, they asked him if he was allergic to anesthesia. He said he was not.
A couple of days before the surgery, Bubba felt strange about going.
He took it for fear since it was his first time.
In the pre-op room, they explained that the surgery would last one hour. After his recovery, Bubba would be able to play.
“By the time we get to the operating room, you will be already under anesthesia.”, said the doctor before injecting the drugs.
They wheeled him in.
But Bubba wasn’t feeling anything.
He closed his eyes, waiting to go under. The doctors got ready to operate, not knowing he was still awake. He had not said anything.
As they began to cut him, Bubba saw his body on the operating table.
