The Man Has a Near-Death Experience, Meets Jesus, and Discovers Why Having Fun Is Crucial
The NDE (near-death experience) of Chase Skylar DeMayo
The pain was too much.
A bubble of air had gotten into Chase DeMayo’s vein. It felt like a golf ball was traveling up his arm.
He had been found unconscious in his dorm room on Camp. He was in the Navy. They quickly took him to the Air Force camp hospital. Chase recovered, but the doctors couldn’t find out why he passed out.
Chase was in the best shape of his life, physically and physiologically.
The nurse came to tell him they would let him go. Then she fiddled with the IV and went out. Unfortunately, that’s when the bubble of air went to his arm.
At that moment, Chase felt someone stroke his arm. He heard a voice tell him that he would be comforted through the painful experience.
As a tough guy, Chase would have resisted someone holding his arm, but it was so soothing.
Chase wanted to see who was comforting him. So he used all his strength to look to his left. He was surprised to see that no one was there, and then he saw his heart monitor flatline.
