A mile before the accident, Richard Allyn had a strange feeling to stop his car.
But he didn’t see any reason to pull over. It was a beautiful sunny day, and he was feeling amazing. He was driving back from his high school in his sports car. What could go wrong?
Richard stopped at an intersection as usual. But then, a truck crossed the middle line and smashed his car.
The collision heavily impacted his torso and head.
Richard opened his eyes and saw blood everywhere. He raised his hand to feel his head. It felt mushy. And that’s when he realized that he was going to die.
Suddenly, a hand touched his shoulder in a comforting way.
A voice spoke, “Hey, Ric! There is nothing to worry about, we’ve got you.” The consciousness behind the voice then reminded Richard that he had died many times before.
Then a sense of ‘it’s all right’ rose inside Richard. He came to peace with everything that was happening, and he surrendered to death.
A few moments later, Richard came back into his body.
