The NDE (near-death experience) of Mariko Fredrick
Mariko Fredrick was home, in bed, and her body started to feel extra heavy.
Then breathing became hard. It was as if she was pushing a heavy weight up and down with her chest. It became exhausting.
Eventually, she stopped trying.
She just let go.
And instead of fear, she felt a sense of relief.
“Oh, this is so much better.”
She heard her heart stop, and then the sound of a low, buzzing hum, as if her nervous system was powering down.
A bright light appeared on her forehead. Glowing like a thousand suns. Warm. Comforting. It was as if it had always been there, and she had simply forgotten.
With her last breath, the light consumed her gently.
Mariko then floated above her room.
Her husband was in the kitchen, making tea. She knew he’d be okay. He would grieve, then move on. He would remarry. Have children.
It wouldn’t be the same love. But it would be love, and he would be okay.
