A few minutes later, McGreevy was riding in a jump craft with a squad of armored constables.

The ship flew low and fast until it reached Ahmad’s known address, a big mansion on the beach just south of the city. He noted that there were several jump craft sitting on the lawn and armored constables and Military Police standing guard when he arrived.

Sergeant Major Khan and Field Marshal Mountbatten walked up to him after the craft set down. McGreevy saluted as the Field Marshal approached.
