Chapter 11 The Great Basin Development Company

The rest of McGreevy’s first week on New America was quiet until Father Salazar invited him to breakfast. The father was waiting for the colonel at a small café a few blocks from Government House that served an English, or rather Victoria style, breakfast.

The two met at the café around 8:30 a.m. local time and found a table. McGreevy ordered salmon bacon and eggs, while Salazar ordered an omelet.

“So why did you want to see me?” McGreevy asked as he sipped his coffee.
