Chapter 31 The Prodigal Returns

After the press conference, McGreevy took the rest of the day off and went swimming. He swam several laps around the bay; he went home. At home, spent the day looking at pictures of his daughter Grace and the grandchildren that he had never met.

Then he had had to face the worst part of the day: telling Chamkanni that he knew her secret when she came for dinner. As he thought about it, McGreevy realized he would rather his teeth pulled than say he knew the truth.

To ease the transition, McGreevy made dinner, fish and rice. He dug out a good bottle…
