Club football is underway and what better way to kick off the season than with predictions from the guys here at The New Ultras? We’ll be sure to revisit these points throughout the season to see who was right and who was wrong as hell. Here are our predictions for the 2016–17 campaign.

And now for either the best of takes or the worst of takes, we’ll find out in May.

@CamryGod: Manchester United with both Manchester Derbies. Alexandre Pato will score 20 or more goals for Villarreal. Bayern Munich win the Champions League. All of Chris’ predictions will be wrong.

@Chris726: Zlatan will score less than 15 goals across all competitions. Barcelona go without a trophy. Real Madrid will be the first club to win the Champions League back to back. Borussia Dortmund win the league by 6 or more points.

@CombMyAfro: Arsenal struggle, early and often. Europa League is a bore. Juventus don’t lose a match in the Serie A. Leicester City make the round of 16 in the Champions League.

@ElasticoChopp: Sterling will be sold or loaned. Real Madrid will be the first club to win the Champions League back to back. Wenger gets fired after 20 seasons with Arsenal. Barcelona sign André-Pierre Gignac.

@Feelz_: Zlatan will win the Premier League Golden Boot. Memphis will finish with more goals and assists than Sterling. Diego Simeone leads Atlético Madrid to the double, La Liga and Champions League.

@GoodKidManCity: Leicester City don’t win a game in the Champions League. Schalke 04 make a strong run for top 2 in Bundesliga. Celta de Vigo make Europa League Semifinals.

@Jimmy_Tries: Liverpool make a push for top 3 in the Premier League. Leicester City win one game in the Champions League. Real Madrid will be the first club to win the Champions League back to back. Arsenal finish mid-table, Wenger fired.

@JuanFoolery: Liverpool finish top 2 in the Premier League. Arsenal don’t qualify for Champions League, Wenger fired. Sturridge scores 20 or more goals. Griezmann wins the Ballon d’Or.

@KingJackThe4th: Arsenal win the Premier League, advance to quarterfinals of Champions League, Wenger extended. Real Madrid lose in the Champions League final. Liverpool get relegated. Whoever Wenger signs at striker scores 22 goals.

@NigerianScamsss: Real Madrid do not fire Zidane. Wenger gets a contract extension. Leicester City don’t advance out of their Champions League group. Juventus wins the league in January.

@StacksBreadup: Barcelona win the double, La Liga and Champions League. Inter Milan secure a Champions League group stage spot. Chelsea finish outside of European competitions for the second year straight. Celta de Vigo win the Europa League.

@WeavusChrist: Arsenal finish in 9th. Manchester City are the only English team to make Champions League knockout stage. Real Madrid and Barcelona both finish without a trophy.
