Blood Hunters Rise of the Hybrids Wins Overwhelmingly at Urban Action Showcase Cinemax HBO Awards Night

Inspired by Vincent Soberano’s original comic book drawings, based on old Filipino folklore he’d listened to as a child fueled by his ingenuity mixed with his imagination running wild; He fused martial arts and fantasy in one motion picture — a very bold and a totally brilliant idea with avantgard and nationalistic undertones to it.

A comic book live action film, Blood Hunters: Rise of the Hybrids HE utilized Filipino Martial Arts and Mixed Martial Arts executed by the best genuine Martial Arts practitioners in the Philippines and abroad.

The Film won the NYCA Best Feature Film award just recently & again winning five Awards in the UASE Cinemax HBO film festival, that premiered in the US on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at AMC 25 Empire Theaters, Times Square, New York City.

The Motion picture won BEST ACTION FILM, BEST MARTIAL ARTS FILM, BEST VFX, BEST ACTION SEQUENCE, BEST WEAPONS SEQUENCE sweeping but one award.

During an online communication with film Director Vincent Soberano, He happily narrated that former Olympian & Action Star Monsour del Rosario should be proud, “ He produced this film and its his idea to feature the best FMA in it, insisting that the Actors must train in FMA for the movie” he said.

Synopsis: In an alternate world, where vampire-like creatures called Aswang are terrorizing the lands while humans live in fear, a group of Aswang hunters team up with an avenging cop and a notorious hybrid (half-Aswang, half-human) to hunt down two notorious warlords of the Aswang underworld, unaware of the deadly trap awaiting for them where the hunter becomes the prey.
