Judy Miranda Abalos: Re-Invents the Role of Women in Society
Setting Her vision in a road less traveled Judy always had her eyes set on becoming an entrepreneur par excellence, “driven Women are important in our society,” she says without batting an eyelash.
Every woman has her own job or duty in this modern society in which men are still the ‘strongest gender, “We can´t forget that women´s life is a lot more complicated than a man´s life,” she adds.
A woman has to take care of her own personal life and if she is a mother , she has to take care also of her children´s life too, married women have lots of worries and believe it or not , they carry out a more stressful life than married men.
Judy’s forerunner was just initially, to build her own house.
She then moved further than building her own home; observing her in-laws political duties, while juggling her role as a wife and mother & staying at home with them for a time.
While she felt at home; she realized and felt “ang hirap gumalaw, although they are very good people. Mababait talaga sila. But gusto ko talaga may sariling bahay. I want a life of my own where I’m free.” “That was when I started working in realstate; she quips.
Judy will later on become a successful realstate entepreneur besides being able to build her own dream house, “That was my training ground, unexpectedly she continued on while driven to build and design homes. “I really loved the first house! It was built with blood, sweat and tears as they say, so I said I’ll never sell it. But siyempre, your life changes, your life becomes better, you aspire for better things. You’ll realize your space has become smaller because of the things you own and begin to accumulate, that made me aspire to build more houses with bigger spaces. ”
She later moved on to take courses & study in different countries.
“It is no wonder that Judy integrated herself seamlessly into the hyper-connected world, as the world and her goals in realstate business became more interdependent, “it demands the intervention of a woman, as though it were asking her to put her unique qualities into practice.”
Many women just like Judy who have high-stress jobs that include lots of travel, but have always found it important to take time for herself to relax and stay fit & keep a healthy relationship with her love ones, her favorite stress reliever is to taking dance classes, swimming and traveling overseas, when she is not working.
