“Tombstone Pillow” Goes to New York City International Film Festival (NYCIFF) Special Selections
After getting the nod at the Asian Cinematography Awards Foundation, the short advocacy film “Tombstone Pillow” was specially selected at the NYCIFF a foundation that was created with the purpose to provide opportunities to new and established filmmakers, directors, and performers providing grants over the years has chosen the advocacy film “Tombstone Pillow” during its official Selection.

Your movie is very well done and touches your sensibility seen all those people living in a cemetery!”
“Tombstone Pillow” is a 12 minute short film that tells the story of a “9-year-old girl who gives the Philippines’ wealthiest widow a tour of a graveyard thousands of poor people call home, where she discovers what real riches is” an advocacy film done inside the Historic Manila North Cemetery in the Philippines along makeshift ghettos amid tombs and mausoleums; a neighborhood that existed since the 1950’s
