Yul Servo Stars in “Food Lore” A Drama Anthology Released this Month on HBO GO Asia
Manila, Philippines Release:
The premiere of the latest Yul Servo project which was released by HBO GO this month aired over SKY — tells the story of a Filipino woman leaving her family to work as a domestic helper outside their province while she dreams of giving them a better life and food on the table.
“Food Lore” is a drama anthology that has a lot of the Filipino & Asian family culture undertones to it, filled with passion, intrigue, ambition and power mixed with the struggles between husband & wife and their Children.
Eventually the wife and mother will be alienated played by Angeli Bayani as Nieves, in “Island of Dreams.”
I have seen episode one of the anthology it turned out to be a classic story done in a detailed beach scenery “mounted” on a typical fishing village atmosphere.
Yul Servo’s very moving portrayal of a typical husband and father is captivating in a sense because, the story resonates the simple lifestyle of a Filipino household.
The pilot episode of the anthology featured eight Asian countries’ race, culture and traditions and the role that the cuisines in Asia played in the lives of the citizens in every country.
The Anthology also stars,Nguyen Thi NguyetAnh, Kawatoko Asuka, Putri Ayudya to name a few.
